The Retail Publishing Solutions division at Hewlett-Packard hired EPOS for strategy and design work. The strategy portion involved reviewing the licensors on their roster, with detailed focus in two of their verticals: music and entertainment. We developed a model to determine when and which licensed offering should enter the print-on-demand marketplace. Once completed, we began designing products for those two verticals to include music posters, cards, and calendars for their online offering; and youth-focused entertainment greeting cards, posters, and photo books, that consumers would personalize with their photos and text, for their retail kiosks in major outlets worldwide. EPOS’ business model of sourcing the best talent for each project was a perfect fit for this client. The following pages show a sampling of our designs.
